  • Initial Residence Permit: A two (2) year residence permit is issued, during which the qualifying investment must be completed within three (3) months of entering Italy.
  • Renewal : The residence permit can be renewed for additional three (3) year periods, provided the investment is maintained.
  • Permanent Residency: After five (5) years of legal residence, the applicant may apply for Permanent Residency in Italy.
  • Citizenship : After ten (10) years of residence, the applicant may become eligible to apply for Italian Citizenship, subject to meeting all legal requirements.
  • Access to Italy’s national healthcare system once registered as a resident.
  • Processing time for the Investor Visa and residence permit process is typically within three (3) to four (4) months for the main applicant and eligible family members.
  • Ability to live, work, and conduct business activities in Italy, including working as an independent professional.
  • Education is mandatory for children between the ages of six (6) and sixteen (16) in Italy.
  • Public education is largely free except for universities, where students pay moderate tuition fees depending on the institution and program.
  • Freedom to travel in and out of Italy and across the Schengen Area without additional visas.
