The applicants and dependents gets a residency card/certificate after approval.
The residency card/certificate last for five (5) years after which it should be renewed, to renew the client must have a residential property address.
The process takes between four (4) – Six (6) months for completion, however there is a maximum timeframe of eight (8) months for it to be completed.
The investments are either outright purchase or rental payments. (The mode of rental payments would be agreed with the landlord in the lease agreement)
The qualifying property needs to be held for five (5) years from the date of issuance of the residence certificate.
Before the letter of approval (for the residence certificate) the client must show FIT & PROPER TEST –(Clean criminal record), FINANCIAL RESOURCES & CAPITAL AND GOOD HEALTH –(Clean health, Non-contagious diseases & each member must posses travel health .
After the letter of approval, the client make the property purchase/rental, monetary contribution & donation.
The residence card/certificate is issued 2-4 weeks after letter of approval.

Application Submission: The application begins in the applicant’s home country through the Italian consulate after obtaining a Nulla Osta (Certificate of No Impediment) from the Investor Visa for Italy Committee.
Visa Issuance: Once approved, the applicant receives an Investor Visa, allowing entry into Italy to proceed with the residency process.
Residence Permit Application: Within eight (8) days of arrival in Italy, the applicant must apply for a residence permit and complete biometrics at the local immigration office.
Initial Residence Permit: A two (2) year residence permit is issued, during which the qualifying investment must be completed within three (3) months of entering Italy.
Renewal : The residence permit can be renewed for additional three (3) year periods, provided the investment is maintained.
Permanent Residency: After five (5) years of legal residence, the applicant may apply for Permanent Residency in Italy.
Citizenship : After ten (10) years of residence, the applicant may become eligible to apply for Italian Citizenship, subject to meeting all legal requirements.
